What is CPR?
CPR is a life-saving technique that we use when somebody’s heart stops working properly. To do CPR, all we need to do is push hard and fast in the centre of the chest to the beat of baby shark. We keep doing this until the ambulance arrives to take the sick person to the hospital to get their heart fixed. CPR is a simple technique that almost anybody can do – we all have the power to save a life!
What do I need to do?
We know that the best way to teach adults is through kids. Research has shown that primary aged kids go on to share their CPR knowledge with an average of 2.5 more people in their lives, proving that kid researchers are the way forward!
As a CPR kid researcher, you will be sharing CPR knowledge to help make sure everyone knows how to save a life. Your online CPR kit contains all the tools you need to spread CPR awareness with your loved ones including how-to videos, infographics and a researcher logbook to help keep track of your work. You will also need to answer a few short questions with an adult to help us understand how we can improve our online CPR kits and then receive a superstar CPR Kid Researcher certificate to celebrate your amazing work!
Don’t forget to share your CPR knowledge with family and friends in a safe manner whether that’s through keeping a safe distance apart, video call, phone or directly to household members.
